In 2015 besloten de vier heren van Shoot The Messiah dat het tijd was om hun muziekstijlen de bundelen tot een nieuwe brute sound. Zo omschrijven ze het zelf. Behalve dat ze een fikse portie death-/thrashmetal neerzetten op het eerste volledige album mag duidelijk zijn. Daarbij roepen ze een ieder op dat mensen moeten stoppen met het blindelings volgen van woorden en hun eigen woorden moeten gaan gebruiken. Het alles resulteert in een aantrekkelijk album met acht composities die voor thrashbegrippen aardig lang zijn.
Kill All Gods is een fantastisch album en vraagt er gewoon om om beluisterd te worden. Shoot The Messiah biedt je op dit album een mooi geluid vanuit een death-/thrashbasis maar schroomt niet om wat kleine zijwegen in te slaan en toch een totaal geluid neer te zetten.
Dat gaan de heren zeker ook live waarmaken. Bereid je maar voor op een set die je wenkbrauwen in een scheiding blaast.
In 2015, the four men from Shoot The Messiah decided that it was time to combine their musicstyles into a new brutal sound. That is the way they describe it themselves. That they are capable of creating an immense dose of thrash-/deathmetal on their first album is clear. They are also persuading people to not blindly follow things people say and use their own words instead. Resulting in an appealing album containing eight compositions, which compared to regular thrash are pretty extensive.
Kill All Gods is a great album and just askes to be heard. Shoot The Messiah offers a nice sound on this album. Working from a death-/thrashbasis, they are not afraid to enter different paths, to create a robust sound.
